Village of Schaumburg adopts Mvix Digital Signage Solution after a comprehensive evaluation of over 25 different solutions

Village of Schaumburg, one of the largest communities in Northwest suburban Chicago, has selected Mvix digital display systems to display custom information for residents and visitors through various locations signs. Covering more than a year, the initial deployment will be completed soon after a comprehensive assessment of more than twenty-five (25) different digital signage solutions. As part of this installation, the digital display displays are configured to provide personalized information to residents, visitors and commuters on the basis of various locations of the signs. The Software “nofollow” cloud management that is used to remotely manage and dynamically the information content on all screens all throughout the day.


This expansive digital signage deployment is coordinated and managed by the village of Schaumburg. Schaumburg is a community about 75 000 people, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. A hub of business and industry in the north-western suburbs, the daytime population swells to more than 150 000 people. Manage the flow of commuters and providing relevant and timely information is an important activity of management of Schaumburg. With its installation established video production that creates content for web distribution and cable TV, the village aims to equip all of its facilities, and PEG (Public, Education & amp; amp; Government) network Television with Mvix Digital Signage systems.

I’m used to have some flexibility in terms of hardware configuration myself, but the support was so sensitive, it was a non-issue. They are very economical. The initial investment is very reasonable and the total cost of ownership, given the free service makes the Mvix obvious. “

The first phase of the digital signage installation is expected to last about three months. In addition to normal municipal activities, the village owns and / or operates a minor league baseball stadium, the commuter train station, the regional airport, a concert hall and conference center that includes a 500-room hotel and 150,000 sqm. National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Adopts CAYIN’s Digital Signage Solution for More Efficient Information Delivery

Visitors can find their destination within just a few seconds by a simple click on the touch screen showing floor plans and guiding information.

SMP-WEB series players possess great flexibility for multimedia presentations and can be easily integrated with various applications. To present content richness, administrators of Memorial Hall dedicatedly designed the webpage layout aiming to present more unique and vivid multimedia images. xPost, the specially designed application software for hotels and convention centers, can also be applied with SMP-WEB series players to display weather information, meeting schedule, wayfinding information, and promotional messages.

To manage all media players effectively and simultaneously, the Memorial Hall also purchased one CMS-Mini, the content management server. Data can be updated and synchronized to all players at one time through central scheduling from the server. Furthermore, SuperMonitor, the advanced management software, collaborates with CMS server to monitor the live status of all players ensuring steady operation. SuperReporter also assists administrators in generating players’ playback and system status reports.

The construction of digital signage system not only allows information to be transmitted to visitors quickly and correctly but also benefits administrators by way of lower personnel costs and more convenience on billboard maintenance such as information update.
