Touch kiosks aren’t new, but the Multi-Touch Table Kiosk, which was introduced by Zoom Digital Signage last year, supports six simultaneous touches, allowing for multiple people to gather around and collaborate.

Classroom education settings are one primary use for the touch-enabled table, according to James Lou, a sales manager for the South San Francisco-based company. During a demo at the Zoom Digital Signage CES booth, Lou said that another popular use has been in architectural settings where teams work on CAD drawings.

The table runs Windows 7 on an Intel Core i5 processor. According to Lou, the average cost is approximately ,000.
