review of McDonald’s new digital menu boards

McDonald’s new digital menu boards use a combination of somewhat static menu screens, split screen menus with ads (both horizontal and vertical splits), and some full screen ad/transitions on their McCafe board screen, which is located on the 2nd screen of the 5-screen horizontal video wall. The content is polished and attractive, although some of the fonts are a bit small for the given viewing distance (based on the displays position in relation to the counter), which could pose a challenge for some patrons.
